Special Events in Estill, South Carolina
Juneteenth is celebrated to commemorate the emancipation of enslaved African Americans on June 19, 1865.  It was first recognized as a Federal holiday in 2021.  The Town of Estill will celebrate this day on June 17, 2023.   We are planning a glorious celebration.

African Regalia Contest ( Adults)- 1:00 p.m.  
African Regalia Hat Contest (Adults) -2:00 p.m.
Coloring Contest (Children)1:00 p.m.- Starts at 2:00 p.m. (Judging at 3:00 p.m.) 
Team African Trivia Contest "Jeopardy Style" (Teens) -Noon

Prizes will be given to the winners!
